Lovely Lunch

A couple of Saturdays ago, Leslie and I had lunch at
La Jolla Groves Restaurant
in the Shops at Riverwoods, and it was delicious!!

For any of you living in Utah County, this new restaurant is a must visit!! The head chef is Chef Kent from Chef's Table, so you know the food is top notch, but only about half the cost as Chef's Table.

Not only is the restaurant fantastic, there will soon be a year-round
Farmer's Market and Bakery
right next door, where you can buy produce and their fabulous rolls.

Oh, Happy Day!!

I had this soda a couple of times at a restaurant,
in Orem, before it went out of business.
I was sad, because I loved it...

Yesterday, I found it again at Guru's, in Provo. I am happy!!

Cupcake Chic

end of school this year.


They were very pretty and and came in a beautiful pink box.
They got eaten, fairly quickly, but not by me...

Introductions

A few weeks ago, Christine introduced me to

I remember when it caught on fire during construction.
It's next to Panda Express on Bulldog Blvd..
but I'd never been there before.
Now, I am a total fan...


You choose what kind of meat you want (or not),
then they cook it on a grill while you decide
what else you want added to the pita.
(Llike Subway, but a much larger selection.)


You can have veggies and cheese cooked on the
grill with the meat, or put fresh right into the pita.
My favorite is chicken breast with fresh spinach, cucumbers, sprouts,
mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes, pineapple,and the tzatziki sauce.
Christine loves the Philly Steak.

Eating Out

Zupas is one of my favorite places to eat with family and special friends. They serve soups, sandwiches, and salads that are unique and delicious.

Bonus: Everything you order comes with a piece of French bread and a chocolate covered strawberry.

Fast Sunday Dreaming

Yesterday, at WalMart, I bought some Halloween Caramel Apple Taffy @ 75% off. It really does taste like a caramel apple!! This morning, as my stomach growls, I am dreaming of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory caramel apples. But, more specifically, I'm craving an apple pie caramel apple - my favorite! It's a granny smith apple smothered in caramel, covered in white chocolate, and dipped in cinnamon sugar... yum!

As you can see above, RMCF also has other delectable chocolate creations. Some people I know prefer truffles over chocolate covered strawberries...
