the gate of baptisn leads to the strait and narrow path and to the destination of putting off the natural man and becoming a saint through the atonement of christ the lord. [mosiah 2:19]

the doctrine of christ is faith . repentance . baptism and the gift of the holy ghost. the gate that leads to the strait and narrow path is repentance and baptism. [amazing how correlation works...]

...the spirit and the body are the soul of man. [D&C 88:15]

death is the separation of the body and spirit. everyone will experience temporal death and everyone will be resurrected. but only those who are christ's will be quickened or rise at the first resurrection and meet the savior in the heavens and descend with him at his second coming.
