Pi Day
We celebrate Pi every March 14th (3.14)
Pi is the 16th letter of the Greek alphabet.
It is also the mathematical symbol for the ratio of the
circumference of a circle to its diameter.
Pi = 3.1415926535...
Students bring round edible items to measure, and to prove that
3.14 times the length of the diameter of a circle is equal to
the circumference of that circle. And, then we all eat pie...
