Compare and Contrast

Remember the 2006 elections when Americans voted for change by electing a democratic congress…

The price of gasoline has increased by $1.50 per gallon.
The losses in stock and mutual funds is 2.3 trillion dollars.
Home equity values have dropped by 1.2 trillion dollars.
Unemployment has increase by 10%.
1% of our homes are in foreclosure.
Consumer confidence has plummeted.

Don't forget it is Congress that makes the laws, not the President.
He has to work with what is handed to him...

Let's compare taxes under President Clinton and President Bush:
Single making $30,000: Clinton $8,400 / Bush: $4,500
Single making $50,000: Clinton $14,000 / Bush: $12,500
Single making $80,000: Clinton $23,250 / Bush $18,750
Married making $60,000: Clinton $16,800 / Bush $9,000
Married making $75,000: Clinton $21,000 / Bush $18,750
Married making $125,000: Clinton $38,750 / Bush $31,250

If we elect either democratic candidate for president
, they have both vowed to repeal the Bush tax cuts...
