Loonie Toonies

When we were in Canada, we had to deal with these two money issues:

1. There are no one dollar bills in Canada, just one dollar coins call
loonies because there is a picture of a loon on the back. They
also have a two dollar coin they call a toonie or twonie...

Maybe that's why none of our dollar coins have lasted–
we still have the dollar bill. On the other hand, coins
are a lot heavier in your pocket than a bill.

2. Sid you know that the Cnadian dollar is now
worth more than the American dollar?
Exchange rate this week: 1 Loonie = 0.978474 U.S. dollar
