sunday reflections:

:: relief society :: presidency message: grandparenting

make sure you develop a positive and strong relationship with your grandchildren so if they ever need anything in the future. they will have somewhere to come.
spend time with grandchildren . teach them how to do things . and love them unconditionally.
teach your grandchildren how to work and bear testimony to them in words and actions.
we don.t find grandchild or grandparent in the scriptures probably be cause we live so much longer today.

:: sunday school :: helaman 1-5

the pattern of good vs. evil has continued through all the history of the world. there have been secret combinations of murder for worldly gain and evil covenants made to keep secrets. but the blood of the innocent cries from the earth.

we have been given the book of mormon as another testament of christ to guide us in these latter days. but it also testifies of the reality of the powers of evil and where they will lead us if we choose to follow them.

:: sacrament meeting :: testimonies
[note: we have stake and regional conference next week. hence fast sunday today]
isn.t it great to know that the lord loves us so much that he inspires us to help each other.
we may not remember the words of testimony we hear but we do remember the the feelings and the spirit.
our testimony doesn.t come in one fell swoop. it comes gradually as we search . ponder . and pray.
we never know when or where our missionary efforts will produce results.
strengthening testimony is just gaining more knowledge that supports the testimony that we have.
hard times that we face can come from lucifer . our own ineptness . and from heavenly father.
i am grateful for the decisions and choices that heavenly father made that got him where he is today.
