Breakfast Magic

Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes with
Almond Buttermilk Syrup


Pancake Mix
[can be stored in airtight container up to 6 months]
4 cups quick oats
2 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup dry milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Pancakes

1 cup pancake mix
2 eggs
3 tbsp. oil
1 cup water

Almond Buttermilk Syrup
2 cubes butter
2 cups white sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. almond extract

Combine butter, sugar, and buttermilk. Boil one minute.
Remove from heat and add baking soda and almond extract.
