Fun Fall Food

Have you seen Hershey's new Pumpkins Spice Kisses?

Here is something fun to do with them...

Pumpkin Spice Blossoms

1 spice cake mix [18 1/4 oz.]
14 oz. can Libby's pumpkin
1/2 cup sanding sugar*
1 bag Hershey's Pumpkin Spice Kisses

*Sanding sugar has larger granules that sparkle when sprinkled on baked goods and candies. It will not dissolve when subjected to heat. Buy sanding sugar at a specialty baking supply shop or some grocery stores.

Preheat oven to 350ยบ. In a stand or electric mixer beat the cake and pumpkin until well combined [about 45 seconds]. With a cookie scoop, scoop the dough and roll the top half in sanding sugar [dough is sticky], then place on a parchment or Silpat lined baking sheet. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, or until cooked through. Immediately transfer to a cooling rack and quickly
press kisses into the center of each cookie. Place cooling rack of cookies in to the fridge for 15 minutes so the kisses don't melt.
Yield: 36 cookies.
Enjoy...
