Flying Without Arms

Jessica Cox was born without arms...

but, that has only stopped her from
using the word
can't.

On October 10, 2008, Jessica, now 25, received her
Sport Pilot certificate, making her the first
pilot licensed to fly using only her feet.

With one foot manning the controls and the other
delicately guiding the steering column, Jessica
qualified to fly a light-sport aircraft
to altitudes of 10,000 feet.

Jessica and her flying instructor Parrish Traweek
at San Manuel's Ray Blair Airport.

From birth on, Jessica's feet became her hands.

Her bilateral congenital limb deficiency hasn't stop
Jessica from achieving and surpassing her goals.

She can drive a car, and type 25 words per minute,

has two black belts in Tae Kwan-Do,
a college degree in Psychology, and a
thriving career as a motivational speaker.

Jessica Cox is truly and amazing young woman!!

Thanks, Leslie, for sharing this inspirational story...

WOW!! She is AMAZING!! There is another lady that I saw on TV, who lost her arms as a child and now has two boys and is an aerobics instructor. These women just blow my mind away!!
