Put the opened steamer in the bottom of the pot. Put enough water in the pot to come just below the steamer (water should not touch the corn). Put as many husked cobs in the pot as you need (you can do just one or as many as the pot will hold), and put the lid on the pot. Put the pot on a burner set to High. It usually takes only about 5 minutes for the corn to be hot and ready to go...

What?? How could I never have done this in all my years?? I just boiled it tonight for our son's birthday dinner - I wish I'd read this sooner! Can't wait to try this. Thanks, Lyn!
WOW that's going to save me a lot of time and a lot of guessing whether or not my corn is done boiling. Thank you!
You all are back in school....YAY! :) (that was a sarcastic "yay" by the way). It looks like you had a wonderful summer though the camping trip looks fantastic! And that's coming from a girl who doesn't even like the thought of camping. That s'more recipe look SO GOOD! I'm going to try it!
