Why not make sharing books
Along with swimming, camping, sports, barbecuing, and parades, don't forget to include daily reading. Children of all ages need to read or be read to every day during the summer months. When parents and children enjoy summer reading and book discussions together, children develop a love of books and reading that lasts a lifetime.
And don't forget to set the example of reading yourself...
