For Mother's Day

"God, is it true what someone told me? That tomorrow you are sending me to the earth? But how will I survive? I am so little and I have
no resources."

God responded, "Among all the Angels, I have chosen one especially for you, one that is waiting and will take care of you."

"But," says the child, "here in Paradise, I don't need to do anything but sing and smile. This is what I need to be happy."

God said, "Each day your Angel will sing to you. You will feel the love and you will be happy."

The child continued, "How will I understand what is said to me? I don't know the language."

"That's easy," said God. "Angel will say the softest, most marvelous words. And with a lot of patience and gentleness, your Angel will teach you to speak."

The child looked at God and said, "And what will I do when I would like to talk to you?"

God smiled at the child and told him, "Your Angel will show you how to join your hands and teach you to pray."

The child said, "I have heard it said that there are mean people on earth. Who will protect me?"

With great tenderness, God responded, "Your Angel will defend you, even at the risk of their own life!"

The child looked sad and said, "But I won't be with you!"

God hugged the child and He said. "Your Angel will tell you about me and will teach you the way to return to me, but I will always be
on your side."

A great peace reigned in the sky at that moment.
Voices raised from the earth.

Knowing that his time was short, the child asked. "Oh God, if I am on the point of leaving, please, first tell me the name of my Angel!"

God responded,"The name of your Angel is not important my child.
You will call her simply,
MOM!"
