Rice Pudding

3 cups cooked rice
3 cups half & half
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Fresh strawberries sliced for serving

Cook rice, half & half, sugar and butter over medium heat until thickened, about 30 minutes, stirring often. Add vanilla. Pour into dessert dishes. Add sliced strawberries just before serving. Serve hot or cold. Makes 8 servings.
