Churro Cheesecake

2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 (8oz) packages cream cheese (softened) 
1 cup sugar, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla 
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp cinnamon)

Unroll and spread 1 can of crescent rolls on the bottom of an greased, 13 x 9" baking pan. Firmly press the seams together to seal.  

With a hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla on medium speed until well blended. Spread mixture over crescent rolls in the pan. Unroll the remaining crescent rolls and pat out, seal into a 13 x9" rectangle, and then gently place over the cream cheese mixture in the pan. 

Bake at 350ºF  for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.

Combine the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the top.
