Gather up all your favorite Christmas picture books.
Wrap each one in Christmas paper and bows.
Put a date on each one: December 1-24.
Starting on December 1, each night, let your child(ren) open the Christmas book for that day. Read the book with them before bedtime. The last book should be the Christmas Story.
It doesn't matter if your kids or grandkids have heard the stories a hundred times before, there is something about the surprise of unwrapping a book each day, and not knowing which one it will be.
